Commercial interiors and refurbishment services, Marlow

Marlow lies just 3 miles from Junction 4 of the M40 to the north, eighteen minutes to the M4 to the south, twenty-six minutes to the M25 to the east and a mere half an hour to Reading and onwards to the high tech towns along the M4 corridor west. It really is at the heart of the Thames Valley business district and is served equally well by airports – Heathrow is only a short hop at 25 minutes; Luton, 45 minutes; Stansted and Gatwick both just over the hour.

At no point, however, could Marlow be described as a faceless business town. A vibrant Georgian market town, it makes the absolute most of its location on the banks of the River Thames and the edge of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Beauty. Bustling coffee shops and boutiques line the High Street and surrounding roads giving the town a really vibrant feel.

Also at the edge of Marlow is Globe Business Park, home to some big business names in IT, technology and engineering – Cobham, Softcat, Tekefonica and TTi, all of which are at the cutting edge of their respective industries.
Glenside Commercial Interiors is based just 15 miles away in Reading and knows Marlow well, having worked with companies based there who are at the top of their respective games.

Other locational benefits

A leading IT infrastructure provider asked Glenside to manage the expansion of their head office building on the Globe Business Park to include an additional premises just next door. This was following some very successful work with this client at their Bristol and London offices. Existing fixtures, fittings and services were stripped out and new lighting, power, data, carpets, storage solutions, kitchen fitments and cabinetry were installed. The areas that were designed and fitted out included offices, meeting rooms, a comms room and a large canteen/break out space. We have since returned to refurbish washrooms and to build a secure room.

Also on the Globe Business Park is another of our clients, a leading brand and marketing agency which had outgrown its offices in Maidenhead. Looking to create a wow-factor and a space they would be happy to bring clients to, Glenside were appointed to deliver their vision. We had worked with this company on two previous office relocations so Glenside was particularly delighted to work again with this visionary company. Colour, bespoke artwork and creative space planning all came together to fashion a very striking and bold office environment that was very well received by both our client and their clients.
