A great place to start a business ¦ Glenside
A recent article in South East Business has reported that the South East of England has become an excellent location from which to launch a new business venture. A government-backed scheme aimed at assisting microbusinesses has lent over £45 million to more than 5,000 start-ups, with resulting success.
Kelly Tolhurst MP, Minister for Small Business, commented that: “The UK’s 5.7 million small businesses are the backbone of our economy and we’re dedicated to helping them thrive through our modern Industrial Strategy, ensuring we retain our status as one of the best places in the world to start and grow a small business.”
It is immensely exciting to witness the successful growth of a business, and Glenside has had a wealth of experience in providing services to companies throughout the South East and Thames Valley regions. We are there to help and advise at all stages of their development.
Commercial interior design plays a major role in the success of a business venture, providing the environment where productivity and employee motivation can thrive. Well devised office design and fit out outcomes will present the the values and branding of the enterprise to best effect, thereby attracting customers and encouraging applications from talented recruits as the business expands.
The Minister also stressed the government’s commitment to “supporting entrepreneurs across the South East, helping them form new businesses that grow local economies and are at the heart of our communities.”
We agree that supporting entrepreneurs is important, which is why we take it upon ourselves to handle all aspects of the office design and fit out projects we undertake. We strive to make the process of moving, renovating or expanding an office as smooth as possible. We allow the entrepreneurs whose offices we fit out the freedom to get on with their own vital work, pushing innovation forward and making technological breakthroughs.
We find our approach to office fit outs – being willing to handle every step of the process, from planning and producing initial design concepts, through the actual physical fit out process and negotiating the red tape involved, to finally picking out the finishing touches and advising on furniture selection – means that our entrepreneurial clients stay with us as they grow from their initial start-up position into larger organisations. This is gratifying for us as it falls in line exactly with our ethos: “At Glenside we are committed to partnering with our clients to create empowering workplaces that enable them to become more successful in their own field. We will always ensure that the solutions we provide are tailored to suit the client’s real and individual needs.”
