With over 45 years’ experience, Glenside Commercial Interiors LLP are a specialist office fit out company serving Reading and the surrounding areas, providing practical and realistic solutions for commercial interior and office fit out projects. From small alterations through to large scale office refurbishments, we can provide you with a comprehensive service from initial planning to complete installation.

Our History

Glenside History

1973

Glenside Established

Glenside Commercial Interiors

This is when it all started. Andrew White established Glenside and took inspiration for the name from the name of his house.

1990

First premises opened

Glenside Commercial Interiors

A big year for Glenside, when we opened our first premises, located on Desborough Avenue, High Wycombe.

1991

Andrew’s son joins

1991

As Glenside expanded, Andrew brought his son Charles into the business. Charles came with a lot of experience in the fit-out and construction industry and helped to lay the foundations for what Glenside is today.

1995

Glenside expands

Glenside Commercial Interiors

We expanded our services to not only offer fit-out works, but also furniture. This enabled us to provide clients with a full service, from start to finish of a fit-out project.

1998

A Year of Change

Glenside Commercial Interiors

A dramatic year for Glenside, sadly Andrew passed away therefore Charles continued the business as a sole trader. Glenside moved to purpose-built premises on Kitchener Road, High Wycombe.

2008

First website launched

Glenside Commercial Interiors

Glenside entered the digital age by launching our first ever website, showcasing our work to a whole new audience.

2010

In-house 2D CAD

control system

We extended our services and expertise further through the addition of in-house 2D CAD. Bringing this capability in-house allowed us to provide a better service to our clients by improving turn around times.

2011

Glenside becomes an LLP

Glenside Commercial Interiors

Charles formed an LLP with his two son, Kyle & Ryan, enabling Glenside to have more flexibility and helped to protect the company’s brand.

2015

First in-house 3D visual produced

Glenside Commercial Interiors

Our technological skills and capabilities improved further when we produced our first in-house 3D visual.

2016

SafeContractor Award

Glenside Commercial Interiors

SafeContractor is an accreditation which demonstrates to potential clients that you meet specific standards for health and safety. We were proud to have been awarded this status.

2018

In-house recycling programme launched

Glenside Commercial Interiors

With growing concerns for the environment, we decided to do our part by starting an in-house recycling programme for furniture packaging waste.

2020

New Premises

Glenside Commercial Interiors

Glenside designed and built brand new premises in Reading, on the site of an old commercial laundry.
